Fort Greene Park
The String Orchestra of Brooklyn is proud to present two consecutive Saturday afternoons of socially distanced music in our beloved parks of Brooklyn.
Experienced as an installation, these performances feature four SOB-commissioned world premieres by Anjna Swaminathan, Gelsey Bell, Scott Wollschleger, and Darian Thomas.
Come join us, set up a picnic, lie in the grass, wander between the widespread constellation of players, or simply walk by on your way to other pastures. This is an experience meant to provide a safe, free, casual, and magical afternoon that celebrates our shared resiliency and the artists in and of our beloved borough.
Please, if you join us, wear a mask, maintain a safe distance from one another, and follow all New York State and City guidelines on preventing the spread of COVID-19.
